Schedule ahead

In our SB Weekly buckets, everybody plays everybody:

• once (Single Round Robin),
• or twice (Double Round Robin).

You cannot request a BYE, but you may schedule your games ahead.

How it works

As soon as the SB Weekly starts, you can access all your game forums at once. An official round 1, 2, 3 etc. still serves as a reference for every game, but you may schedule (and even play!) in advance.

Extensions are allowed, too. You and your opponent may agree to play:

• any time before the official round,
• during the official round,
• in the two weeks after the official round.

Benefits

You and your opponent have seven calendar weeks to choose from, rather than one or two.

• Perfect if you'll be busy e.g. in weeks 4/5/6 of the tourney, but you'll have a lot of free time in weeks 1/2/3/7,
• or if you'd like to play all games shortly one after the other, e.g. during weeks 3 + 4, like in an OTB tourney.

Disclaimers

• The official round still has contact deadlines that should be met.
• You should still respond to opponents reasonably fast.
• No-play draws are still sometimes unavoidable.
• Schedule ahead isn't available for our Swiss and Elimination format tourneys.
